So…I suck. I’ve been trying to find a few days to work on Tokyo Demons for the last month, and I could never find it. And when I found some time today to revisit the bits I’d cobbled together…it was really bad. With no time to finish and no time to revise. So I’m not gonna post it. Sigh.
I’m really, really sorry. I’ve had to prioritize Chromatic Press stuff as we prepared for TCAF, but once we’re back, I’m kicking everything to the curb so I can write some f*cking Tokyo Demons. WE NEED MORE F*CKING TOKYO DEMONS.
If any of you are coming to TCAF this weekend, come see us at the Chromatic Press table! We’ll have all the Tokyo Demons stuff and MORE. *wizard fingers* We’ll also be finishing the recording for the last bits of Book 1 audio AND recording the first chapter of Chromatic’s first full-blown audio drama, which, no lie, is coming out awesome. All the Chromatic stuff is coming out awesome, actually. That’s why IT’S TAKING EVERY MOMENT OF MY DAY, EVERY DAY. I love it, but yeah. I’m behind on everything, including showers and human interaction.
I can offer you one tiny concession with my fail today: an updated characters page, which includes new art from rem and our first real posting for that crazy asshole Takeshi. She really captured that “there’s something seriously wrong with me” look.
Oh! And we have a table for Otakon this August. You can come see us at Otakon this August. <3
My extended work in Toronto means our next update will be Friday, May 24th. *wails* But I owe you guys. I owe you big-time. Please forgive this hiatus while I get my shit together.
P.S. – Did you hear Part 1 of Chapter 7 audio last week? It’s awesome. Adam speaks! XD Er, tries to. Rebecca told me the fight scene with Jo had to use a minimalist “action background” track because she didn’t have good files to work with, but we’ll be recording a ton of new fight noises for the rest of Chapter 7 and I think she’s composing new songs, so there will probably be a revised version of that audio coming out later. But whatever, I still love it. I love everything she does. <3
